Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) has long been a hot topic on both sides of the issue. For any kids that are less familiar with this topic, most of the debate centers around fairness in society and how and whether to ensure people of all backgrounds/races/sexes/etc. have equal opportunities and/or equal outcomes in their lives. 

President Trump and his team (including D.O.G.E.) have certainly been making waves about reducing DEI programs that have been largely focused on race and gender. On the other hand, President Trump’s cabinet is also notably more diverse than last time he was President. 

Take time to consider with a family member or friend how you would define diversity and how it benefits your lives.
